Growing up in Augusta, GA, David has built relationships that have lasted a lifetime.  One of those relationships was with Dale Sickles (Founder and Owner of Burgh Construction).  With over a decade in Commercial Interior & Residential Construction; he has been able to pursue his dream of running a construction company.  He strives for customer satisfaction and understanding the needs of his clients.  From the beginning, he has worked closely with his clients to be sure they understand the performance of their project and how they can make simple modifications to better enjoy their space.  His decade of experience ties in perfectly with the high-quality home building company that Dale Sickles founded.

Construction wasn’t his first passion when heading off to college.  While away at Georgia Southern University (GSU) he struggled to find his major and the path for his future career, bouncing from Pre-Med to Pre-Law, until Dale offered him a job as a general laborer on one of his townhome projects one Summer.  At that point David became determined to forge a career in Residential & Commercial Construction, and upon returning to GSU that Fall he changed his major to Construction Management, with a Minor in Business Administration.

Through this program, David achieved a 4.0 and went on to fulfill his internship at the Savannah River Site with a civil construction company based out of Duluth, GA.  Quickly realizing that mass grading was not his calling, he looked for a growing company in Augusta GA.  For the next ten years, he worked in the Commercial Interior Contractor and Sales business, growing their customer base and revenues.

David began selling Commercial Building Products to the CSRA market as the American economy was on the upswing.  While growing his customer base in sales he worked, during his spare time with Dale Sickles, assisting him with his residential projects.  With access to premium building product lines and sales insights David and Dale were able to integrate specific building practices into Burgh Custom Homes.

In late 2016 David’s employer sold their distribution business giving Dale Sickles the opportunity and insight to establish the Burgh Construction Commercial Division.  David oversees this aspect of the business on a day to day basis and looks to compliment the Residential Division with the same quality products and labor he utilizes for his complex commercial projects.
